Classic Carder Drum Carder Finishing Brush

The Finishing Brush sits on the carder frame back It increases the batt by compacting the fibres as you card It also improves the batt by giving it a secondary brushing. The Finishing Brush is particularly useful when carding fine fibres as it pushes them into the pins on the drum making room for subsequent layers. Fibres such as alpaca and angora tend to sit on the top of the pins so further layers have nowhere to go other than onto the licker-in.

All finishing brushes are made in solid ash.
